GAP YOUTH PREACHING CAMP (BOYS AGES 13-19)

*This is our first year hosting a GAP Youth Preaching Camp. This week is for boys ages 13-19 and combines the setting of a traditional week of church camp with specific training to equip and enable young men to accurately and clearly proclaim the Word of God. During the week, the young men will learn how to study and interpret the Bible, how to write an expository sermon, how to incorporate what they've studied into the sermon form, and how to clearly deliver their message. They will have the opportunity to write and preach their own sermon over the week. Not only will these young men have the camaraderie of other teenagers, they will also spend the week with seasoned preachers. Our goals for the week are to produce men who will "speak the truth in love" as well as to help develop within each young man a godly spirit of leadership.
**All camp weeks are based on the grade just completed.
***Early registration discount is for registrations placed at least two weeks in advance of that camp week.

•Please see the "Events" tab on our Facebook page for more information about each event.
• No sign-up needed. To help with planning, you can contact Matt or email whitewatercamp1@gmail.com if you are attending the Spring Retreat and/or Kickoff to Summer. We have a simple registration form to be filled out upon arrival for these events.
• Check-in for all Friday events starts at 5:00 pm. If you need to show up later, that is ok.
• Family Service Day starts at 9:00 AM on Saturday and will end at 4:00 PM. Families are encouraged to attend together and come and go as they are able.
• Service Weekends and the Worship and Prayer event end at 3:00 PM on Saturday. The retreats end at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
• The Spring retreat and Kickoff to Summer cost $20 for the entire weekend. All other spring events are FREE to attend.
• Students in grades 6-12 are able to attend all events, Service Weekends are for all ages 12+, and Family Service Day is for all ages.
• The Spring Retreat and Kickoff to Summer both include a Sunday morning church service at the camp.
• Worship and Prayer is a new event and opportunity for students to experience singing praises, teaching from God’s Word, a powerful prayer walk, individual study, and fellowship

WCSC Camp Board

The WCSC Camp Board meets at 6:30 PM on the fourth Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and November each year. All meetings are open to the public.

The camp board is comprised of men from local Christian Churches and Churches of Christ which financially support WCSC. There are thirteen camp board positions, including a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and nine trustees.
